Dubai Discovers Italian Excellence
Overview
Bool-it, a new Italian startup, aims to promote and sell food products of Italian excellence in the Dubai market, striving to stand out from the average communication in the Emirates. The client seeks an upscale appeal with tones reminiscent of gold. With only a logo in hand, Bool-it requires the creation of a complete color palette to construct their marketing materials, e-commerce platform, website, and product catalogs.
Imagery and Style Guide
In response to the client's desire for gold tones and an upscale appeal, I curated a color palette primarily consisting of gold hues, balanced with different but bright shades to avoid appearing overly heavy. For fonts, I sought out elegant typefaces that embody the essence of Bool-it.
E-commerce Optimization
An external agency laid the foundation for a Shopify e-commerce platform to sell Bool-it products. Once the agency provided the basic structure of the sales site, I applied the colors and created tailored images to refresh the site and align it with Bool-it's essence.
B2B and Retail Catalogs
To effectively promote Bool-it's Italian food products, I was tasked with compiling two catalogs: one for B2B and the other for Retail, while ensuring alignment with the brand's essence and existing communication materials. By creating 10-page templates, I brought to life two extensive catalogs that are engaging and avoid monotony and repetition.
Website
The client requested a separate website for Bool-it, distinct from the e-commerce platform, to provide detailed information about the company's structure, team, and locations. Bool-it needed to maintain a visible call-to-action (CTA) throughout the website to direct users to the e-commerce page from any page. To achieve this, I created a rotating logo/button that remains visible at the top of each page, ensuring the CTA is always prominent. Naturally, it was essential to maintain consistency with the style and colors of previously created communication materials.
